We are committed to creating a secure and safe online community. We work to provide a space where people feel empowered to communicate, connect with a broader network and share their experiences.

As a member of our community, your commitment should be to ensure that all your communication and behaviour is aligned with our values:

We believe building a community that brings the world closer together and makes online safer depends on people’s ability to share views, experiences, ideas and information. The goal of our Community Guidelines is to ensure we create a place for expression. We want people to talk openly about what matters to them, even if some may disagree or find them objectionable. In some cases, we allow content for public awareness which would otherwise go against our Community Guidelines. Our commitment to expression is vital, but we recognise that the Internet creates new and increased opportunities for abuse. We may also limit expression; we do so in service of one or more of our values.

When each member takes it upon themselves to assure their behaviour and actions won’t offend anyone else, it creates an enjoyable and safe experience. We will not accept any types of harassment on Little Bird. We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.

 

ACCOUNT TERMINATION

 

LittleBird reserves the right to investigate and, if necessary, terminate your account should one or more of the Community Guidelines have been proven to be violated. Little Bird also reserves the right to terminate accounts without refund if these Community Guidelines were abused or you misuse our service in any way.

 

OFFLINE BEHAVIOUR / REAL LIFE

 

Our Community Guidelines apply and are enforced, both on the LittleBird app and in real life. If you have experienced bad behaviour with another member, whether in real life or on the app, please let us know so we can take the appropriate action to prevent any further incidents.

 

BE KIND

 

Champion kindness in all of your interactions. Treat others how you expect to be treated.

HARASSMENT

Please don’t be rude, intimidate, defame, harass or stalk other members as you wouldn’t like this done to you, so don’t do it to someone else. We take reports of any harassment seriously; people may block you, but don’t try and communicate as this is a sign to stop.

 

VIOLENCE AND PHYSICAL HARM

You should never threaten to harm anyone through your words or physical actions. We will not tolerate any form of physical or mental harm. Including content that depicts violence, graphic or gory context, will not be allowed and will result in the account being partly or permanently banned.

 

DISCRIMINATORY BEHAVIOR & HATE SPEECH

You should always be respectful in every interaction with other members. There is no place in our community for hate speech, racism, or bigotry towards any individual or group, and it will result in your account being permanently banned.

 

BE KIND IN THE MESSAGES YOU SEND

Messages to other members should always be kind. Your messages should not contain content that is violent, abusive, rude, or defamatory. If another member reports your message, customer service will investigate the offence. Serious offences will result in your account being banned.

 

BE RESPECTFUL

 

The foundation of all great relationships is respect. Lead with it.

 

                     NUDITY/SEXUAL CONTENT

Do not upload content that contains any nudity, sexually explicit or pornographic content to LittleBird.

 

                     COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT

You should not post content that violates or infringes anyone’s rights, rights of publicity, privacy, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property.

 

                     CUSTOMER CARE

Our team is here to support you and help make your LittleBird experience as enjoyable as possible. You should never abuse or threaten Customer Care Representatives under any circumstances, and they are just trying to help and make sure everything runs smoothly.

 

BE RESPECTFUL OF YOUR LITTLEBIRD PROFILE.

PROFILE IMAGES

We expect you to observe ground rules regarding the types of images we allow on our platform.

Images that contain the following content will result in your account being permanently banned:

                     Nudity or sexually explicit imagery

                     Shows of violence, violent gestures, or gruesome imagery

                     Depictions of criminal activity or drug use

                     Racist or hate imagery

Images that contain the following are not allowed and will result in your account being moderated:

                     Shirtless photos out of context (shirtless on a beach is okay, but not in your bathroom)

                     Bikinis or swimwear out of context (outside is okay, but not inside)

                     Lingerie or underwear

                     Shirtless/underwear mirror selfies

We have a zero-tolerance policy where minors feature in photos. Please refrain from posting as we will remove them from your profile.

 

ATTACHING IMAGES TO MESSAGES 

We understand that part of sharing your experience is sharing images that speak to your personal and unique reality.

With that understanding in mind, you may attach any image you like, so long as it does not contain:

                     Nudity or sexually explicit imagery

                     Shows of violence, violent gestures, or gruesome imagery

                     Depictions of criminal activity or drug use

                     Racist or hate imagery

 

BE RESPECTFUL IN THE MESSAGES YOU SEND.

Do not send a message containing unwelcome sexual propositions or sexually explicit content.

 

PROSTITUTION, ESCORTING, SOLICITATION, AND TRAFFICKING

Promoting or advocating for commercial sexual services, human trafficking or non-consensual sexual acts on LittleBird is not tolerated and will result in your account being permanently banned.

 

PRIVATE INFORMATION

You should never try and give out someone’s private information; this includes passwords, SSN/SIN, financial information, home/work address. Any information regarding a member, public or private, shall not be used and will not be tolerated if used or shared around. To protect you and everyone else on the app, please never share publicly or privately any information that belongs to you or anyone else, as this is a breach of privacy.

 

ILLEGAL USAGE

This should go without saying, but do not use LittleBird to do anything illegal.  We will remove any profile or message content depicting criminal activity the second it is spotted, and the account will be permanently banned.

 

BE SAFE

Use your best judgement and keep your safety a priority. Always. If you spot anything suspicious, report it.

 

MINORS

                     You must be 18 or older to use Little Bird. If you are found to be underage, your account will be immediately removed and banned. If you believe a suspicious account is under 18, please report to us, and we will get this account removed so it keeps the community safe.

                     Never display sensitive information on your profile that could compromise yourself or someone else’s privacy and safety.

                     When messaging other members on Little Bird, don’t share more than you are comfortable with. When in doubt, keep your communication within the Little Bird app. If you choose to share your personal information, stick to sharing basic contact information only.

                     Reporting users who do not adhere to our terms of service is straightforward and vital; this can be done on the Little Bird app by clicking “Report User” on the drop-down menu when viewing the message or comment you wish to report.

 

BE REAL

When expressing yourself on the app, feel free to be yourself but keep all our values stated in our Community Guidelines. Being authentic should not be for the sake of the dignity or expense of others. Be mindful in all your interactions.

 

SCAMMING

Be considerate and trustworthy. Do not use LittleBird to spam people, solicit money or business, or defraud people. Do not create accounts that impersonate another person or entity. Little Bird will not accept this under any circumstances.

 

MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

Please do not create multiple accounts on LittleBird unless our Customer Support Service staff has granted permission. Inclusive of this, do not attempt to use an account that isn’t yours.

Little Bird is not the place to promote external links in your messages or on your profile, whether a business page or social media or commercial promotion of any kind.
